Sabbath: to rest
Ordained by God who rested on the seventh day
Combines concept of Rest and Redemption

Redemption/ Restoration = a gift of time
why busy busy "doing"
Take time to rest and value "being"
Acknowledge God as "centre" of our life

Sabbath allows us to develop a rhythm of life of Grace
and adopt a spiritual posture of Trust and Obey

1: TAKE A BREAK
Need to rest periodically, regularly
daily, weekly, monthly, annually
Life is a long distance marathon race, not a sprint

2: REST IS A SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINE

Intentionally spend time with God.

3: HELP OTHERS WITH THEIR SABBATH

Family, Employees, Domestic Helpers.

4: KEEP SABBATH SACRED

5: KEEP SABBATH AS FAMILY DAY

Eat together, pray together.
