Brooklyn Art Gallery Cafe
Cheng Cheong had suggested this meeting place and it worked out quite nicely.
A few minutes walk from Kembangan MRT station.
The cafe itself is quiet, not so busy:
We did order and consume some drinks.

We started by introducing ourselves, and talking of what sort of GR and visual stuff we were doing .

We brought out our tools of the trade:
Range of markers: omnigraph, daiso ($2), copic markers, Pilot big markers,  neuland, Faber Castell connector pens, artliners
saitograph $17.95 for box of 24
pastels sticks, oil pastels, pan pastels (order from dblick.com)
plastic underliners
mindmaps
and iPad apps!
of Sketchbook pro: Not limitless canvas: must practice zooming in and out and centering

We did a little icon jamming
Each person in turn suggesting a topic, and everyone doing an image (as fast as possible)

How many colours does one use?
It is individual preference

Some corporate clients prefer/need their colour palatte to be used
Some practitioners havetheir own prefered set of colours
Colours help your drawing stand out
 Colours help visual recall
